Nobu’s Miso Black Cod
The ever so famous entree in Nobu: miso black cod. Got fresh black cod and finally tried this recipe.
Suggestion: use thick fillets. The marinate takes 2-3 days and the thinner filets ended up being too sweet (for me at least) with the marinade - thick fillets, on the other hands, came out perfect. Even though I seared a bit longer than should.
Too bad this doesn’t allow video upload - have one with the almost translucent cod flakes under the tiniest fork pressure right after it coming out of the oven. Heavenly.
